Earth Profile

The vibrant beauty of the sunset and dramatic land forms inspire care for "mother earth." Profiles of women's faces and silhouettes of land forms were studied until one image could be created that revealed both aspects. A retro 1970s color palette (generally not thought of as earth tones) is perfect for the sunset motif as well as an RGB format. This composition invites the viewer in through the interplay of color and sense of dimension. Even the "IGDC 1996" seems to be floating above the water, casting its shadow over the ocean bay.
