UCD’s Division of Technology and Special Services contacted Skoubo Graphics to design a brochure for their Information and Learning Technology (ILT) Master’s Degree Program.
The program consisted of six learning modules: Technology as a Learning Tool, Technology Tools and Issues, Integrating Technology in the Classroom, Leadership and Change, Creating Learning Communities and Developing Interactive Media.
Modular Design
Using the course descriptions provided by UCD, and an underlying design grid, we created a modular layout that grouped related content into visual blocks. For the front panel of the brochure we created an image of a book by scanning an actual open book and replacing existing page content with new text and images of our own design.
The two-color brochure was printed in a metallic green and dark blue ink, giving it a technical look without seeming “cold.”
