 U S West Business Resources annually hosts an awards event (the U S West President’s Club Awards) honoring exceptional employee performance. Each year U S West selects a theme from which we develop the logo, invitations, programs, posters, pins, trophies and visual presentations.
Partnering for Perfection
The awards presentation shown here was hosted in Denver, Colorado, and featured the theme “Partnering for Perfection.” The seven-pointed star logo symbolized excellence within U S West’s seven corporate divisions. The star motif was incorporated into all of the award publications and presentations. The program’s cover mirrored the star theme with a photo of seven hands representing employee diversity and partnership.
Printing Techniques
The invitations were printed in one PMS color (navy) using screening techniques to create tonal contrast and visual interest. For the programs, a second color (metallic gold) was added to the design. |
