The Process Begins This initial trial emphasized implementation of new technology, coding and design of content. The first step was to define technical and creative goals. Rocky Mountain PBS needed content relevant to its Colorado viewers.
Colorado Channel The content for Rocky Mountain PBS Colorado Channel began with the development of material based on the popular television series Spirit of Colorado. This HDTV program features the people and places of Colorado and is rich with vivid, panoramic images. Program descriptions and other website content were repurposed for iTV use. iTV Navigation The primary subsites of the Colorado Channel were chosen and entitled for optimal TV use. It was also important to keep iTV users connected to the on-air broadcast. To address this issue a small TV window was included in all iTV pages. Viewers could then see what was live on-air at all times.
